"i'm loving It"

I have never really understood how this happens but I would imagine it is the same for everyone. Before you have children you've swore off McDonald's and your certainly not taking your kids there.
Slowly, you find yourself stopping for something quick just once and then it is all downhill, suddenly everyone is eating cheeseburgers FF, and apple slices. The car becomes a graveyard for happy meal toys... I'll never forget the day Emma pointed to those huge golden arches and said "adonalds Mommy adonalds"... Maybe it is just a right of passage or something...
Saturday Steve ( Alex's Dad) took the girls to ballet and I stayed home with the little girls. On the way home he stopped and picked up McDonald's for everyone, although I made Tatum her own lunch she decided that it was the day that she was going to shock her little system...Yep you guessed Tatum LOVES french fries....it was pretty amazing, I did not even have to break it into tiny pieces, she dove right in...What is it with kids and McDonald's???

Oh my gosh, how freaking cute is she! I know, I feel the fast food guilt, too. Stella begs to go to Chick-Fil-A.
We got the thank you card yesterday and it is adorable. :D

Abi didn't call it McDonald's until this year. We would drive by and she would sing " badda bum bum ba, I'm loving it". I'm not kidding!!!How backwards is that?

Ok, I think I have a new favorite photo of Tatum! Sooo cute! Was Emma's hair so curly? I don't remember it like that.

I would kill for Nick to eat a french fry - yep all those promises about not doing fast food would be right out the window! Tatum's really showing him up. :-)

Lisa,
This post reminded me of something that you did when you were two. Your Mom was in the hospital because she had just had Julie. Uncle Don and I had you in the car. We drove by McDonald's and you screamed, "McDonald's!" Then you said, "If I had a quarter, I'd buy me a milkshake." (Of course, we did!)
We love the pictures of Tatum attacking those fries!
Much love,
Aunt Josie

Girl, that kid of yours is growing up! She is so cute!

Erik will soon say Taco Bell, I'm sure. I hate giving him that stuff, but he digs the bean burritos. :)

I'm buying you a milkshake someday! I enjoyed talking to you the other day. I drank your margarita!
